Steps to be followed if fee is
paid through Demand Draft

If you want to remit the fee by
Demand Draft, get it ready before filling Application Form
-
Logon to the AIPMT website, fill the
Application Form, note down the registration number which would be generated by
system and required for payment of fee.
-
Fill the details of Demand
Draft.
-
Take four printout of Confirmation Page
and a printout of Address Slip and complete the confirmation Page as per instructions given in Bulletin.

Steps to be followed if fee is
paid through Credit Card / Debit Card (This facility is currently not available)

Keep the details of Credit/Debit Card (VISA/MasterCard) ready.

Logon to the AIPMT website, fill the
Application Form, note down the registration number which would be generated by
system and required for payment of fee.

Make the payment through Credit/Debit Card and note down the payment receipt number, after successful payment of
fee.
-
Take four printout of Confirmation Page
and a printout of Address Slip and complete the confirmation Page as per instructions given in Bulletin.

Paste your two recent photographs (as given in point 6 below), sign in the specified
box and send this confirmation page along with Demand Draft (incase of exam fee
paid through Demand Draft) by Registered/Speed Post
to
"The Deputy Secretary (AIPMT Unit), Central Board of Secondary Education,
Shiksha Kendra, 2, Community Centre, Preet Vihar, Delhi 110 301" so as to reach on or before 02.02.2012.
Application received after the last date will not be accepted.

Candidates are advised to take 8-10 passport size photograph with white background and one post card size (3½”x5”) photograph. Passport size photographs are to be used to affix on Computer Generated Application Form (Confirmation Page) and for Counselling/Admission. Post Card size photograph will be collected from candidates by Centre Superintendent at Centre during AIPMT-Final Examination. Before affixing photograph on Conformation Page candidate must write down his/her name, Application Form number and Contact Number on the reverse side of both the photographs with Ball point pen only. Affix two recent good quality colour STUDIO photographs with white background, one attested and the other unattested in the space earmarked for these in the Confirmation Page. The photographs must be taken on or after 01.10.2011 indicating clearly the name of candidate alongwith the date of taking the photograph as shown below. Photograph should not have cap or goggles.
Spectacles are allowed if being used regularly. POLAROID and COMPUTER generated photos are not acceptable. The photograph should be attested by the Principal/Head of the Institution or by a Gazetted Officer in such a way that half the signature of the attesting officer should appear on the photograph and the remaining on the Application Form. Attestation should be done at the bottom part of the photograph so that the photograph is not defaced. The photograph should be firmly affixed to the Application Form by gum/fevicol and should not be pinned or stapled. Applications not complying with these instructions or with unclear photographs are liable to be rejected. Candidates may please note that if it is found that photograph affixed is fabricated i.e. de-shaped or seems to be hand-made or computer made, the form of the candidate will be rejected and the same would be considered as using unfair means practices and candidate would accordingly be dealt with the rules of unfair means.

Before dispatch of the Application
Form, kindly ensure that the form is complete in all respect.

Candidates
submitting applications online are required :
-
to attach Demand Draft of required
fee (In favour of “Secretary, CBSE, Delhi”, payable at Delhi).
-
to mention his/her Name, Application
No., Contact Number and Address on the back of the Demand Draft.
-
to retain a photocopy
of confirmation page for future reference.
-
to retain a photocopy of the Demand
Draft sent.
-
to retain a photocopy of
the Transaction if fees paid by credit card.
-
to retain the original receipt issued
by the Post Office for having dispatch the Application Form.
-
The processing of applications will
begin only after receiving confirmation page and fee (By Credit Card or by
Demand Draft).

Eligibility and
Qualifications :
-
He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course and is an INDIAN NATIONAL.
-
(ii) The upper age limit for All India Pre-Medical /Pre-Dental Entrance Examination is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes. Candidate must born on or between –
(a) 01.01.83 to 01.01.96 (SC/ST/OBC Category)
(b) 01.01.88 to 01.01.96 (Other Category)

Students from the States of Andhra Pradesh/J&K are not eligible for AIPMT examination, as both these States had opted out of All India Scheme since its inception. If they claim eligibility, they must submit an affidavit, in original, in the Proforma on Rs 10/- Non-Judicial Stamp Paper duly sworn before and attested by a Metropolitan Magistrate/First Class Judicial Magistrate to the effect that:-
a) They are not eligible to appear for MBBS/BDS seats in the States of Andhra Pradesh/J&K and hence not eligible to seek admission in Medical/ Dental Colleges of Andhra Pradesh/J&K.
and
and
b) They are not domiciled in Andhra Pradesh/ J&K. Note : Applications not accompanied with the required affidavits or accompanied with incomplete, unattested or photocopy of the affidavit shall be summarily rejected without any further reference in the matter. The affidavits submitted by such candidates will be verified and if found to be false, the admission of all such candidates shall be cancelled and criminal proceedings may be initiated against them.

Reservation :
|
|
|
15% seats for SC
candidates, 7.5% seats for ST candidates, 27% seats for non-creamy layer OBC
candidates in Central Institutions only and 3% seats on horizontal bases for
physically handicapped candidates are reserved in 15% All India quota for
MBBS/BDS courses.
